New Building and New Service Time.

Saying goodbye to an old friend.

For those who go to Calvary Chapel Mount Pleasant, I just wanted to remind you that tomorrow morning we will be in a whole new building. We will be meeting at 411 N. Van Buren aka the old First Baptist Church's Christian Life Center, which is the new location of CCMP!! The new service time is 10:00am only! I hope you are as excited as I am. Chris, Dave, Leticia and lots of other faithful servants have been working day and night for two weeks to get the building ready. It is beautiful and definitely a blessing from the Lord.

Don't be sad about the leaving the old building, because it is going to continue to be used by God. A Hispanic church has purchased our building and will using it for their services.

Hope to see you tomorrow!!

My Brookshire's Moonlight Madness Success!!

All this for $17.47!!!!!

Well, Wal-Mart wasn't that great this week (I only ad matched 3 items), but Brookshire's was a whole other story. With the deals they were having and the store coupons they offered for Thursday evening only I got all this for $17.47. I could hardly believe it. I highly encourage you to take advantage of this sale when they do it again.

How did you do this week at your favorite store? Did you score some good deals or find some great clearance? Let us know.

**note** I had some good coupons for pet food.

Truth or Dare: Making your own pizza.

Chicken Ranch Pizza... mmm..mm...good!

I have to say that I am just like the rest of Americans, I like things fast and easy. This includes pizza. If my family wants pizza I usually will:

A) Buy a frozen pizza
B) Buy a take and bake pizza from Wal-Mart (which are sooo good)
C) Order in

These were our options up until a few weeks ago when I dared to make my own pizza!!! The first time we tried a BBQ chicken and it was good, but the crust was too soft, like bread. So yesterday we tried a chicken ranch pizza (Thanks Leticia for the recipe!). Halfway through I put the pizza directly on the rack and this helped a bit. The truth is it was good, fairly fast and very easy. Better yet, it was cheap!!!!!!

Does anyone have any tips on making the crust more crispy?

Walgreen's and Target

Sorry, I don't see any unbelievable deals at either of these stores this week. I guess this makes up for how wonderful Walgreen's was last week. Maybe next week will be better. Let me know if you see anything I am missing.

Green Giant Steamers $0.22

Select Green Giant Steamers are $1.22 at Wal-Mart, while others with sauces are $1.88. Use the $1 coupon 9/7GM or from here to get them for $0.22 or $0.88.

Delays and deals

Just wanted to let you know that deals this week may be a bit delayed due to my 16-month-old not feeling well.

Also, yesterday I was at Wal-Mart and they still have Airborne Jr. on clearance for $1.50. I also found small plants in the lawn and garden section for $2 each even though the tag said $3.50. It included all small plants marked "foliage." They had a great selection and the plants still look good. Check it out next time you go.
